What is AGC Texas Scramble ?
Do you dream of a golf experience out of the ordinary?
The Arctic Golf Challenge is Scandinavia’s largest amateur tournament, where golfers from Norway, Sweden, and Denmark compete in a social and engaging format, all aiming for one spectacular final.
The tournament is played as Texas Scramble Matchplay — a format that combines teamwork, strategy, and pure enjoyment of the game, where both partners contribute throughout.
The prize is a trip for all winning teams to the iconic Lofoten Links, where the midnight sun lights up the course around the clock. There are few more spectacular settings for golf.
How does AGC Texas Scramble work?

You and a partner sign up as a two-player team.

Maximum handicap (HCP) for participation is 28. Players with a higher handicap can still join but will be adjusted to 28.

Teams can be men’s, women’s, or mixed.

Win 6 matches to qualify your team for the final at Lofoten Links

All matches are scheduled locally against another team. One team is drawn as the home team and can choose the course.

Teams agree on when to play within the round’s timeframe.

Format: Texas Scramble Matchplay — both players tee off, choose the best ball, and continue from there until the ball is holed.

The winning team advances to the next round. If you win as the “home team,” expect to play as the “away team” in the next round.
Each match you win brings you one step closer to qualifying for the final at Lofoten Links.

The winning teams are sent to Lofoten Links, one of the world's most spectacular golf courses.
Here you can play golf under the midnight sun – an experience you are unlikely to forget!
Everything is included here, round-trip flights, accommodation, all meals included, gala dinner, golf and great prizes.

Round 2: 17 June – 5 July 2026
Round 3: July 28 – August 10, 2026
Round 4: August 11 – August 24, 2026
Round 5: August 25 – September 7, 2026
Round 6: September 8 – September 21, 2026
AGC Hub:
Arctic Golf Challenge has adopted AGC HuB, our new digital system for match schedules, results and tournament overview.
AGC HuB will be used to set up matches, display opponents, and publish results throughout all of our tournaments.

2026 will be a pilot year, where the system will be tested and further developed based on experiences and feedback from both participants and organizers. As this is the first year of operation, we will gradually add more functionality as the solution proves to be stable and well-functioning.
